Heavy storms ripped through the area Friday afternoon, leaving damaged trees and property.  The late afternoon storms accounted for 7 jobs for the Chinchilla Hose Company and made travel dangerous throughout the evening.  Trees and downed power lines made for a long commute home for many.  The day was a busy one for firefighters as CHC members were dispatched to: 7 Trees Down (some with wires also), 5 Medical Calls, 3 Motor Vehicle Accidents and 1 Smoke Investigation.
